Chanel are on the top of their game hosting a Couture show as guests are invited to board 'private jet' catwalk runway spectacular.
Chanel's elaborate setting for this season's Couture show, was the Grand Palais in Paris, reconstructed and revolutionised into a private jet, complete with floor level lighting, numbered seating and a roof that revealed a faux sky. The aisle featured emergancy exits and of course, a bar cart. At the end of the show Karl emerged from the cockpit to thank his guests. Some of the passengers included Vanessa Paradis, Cameron Diaz, Elizabeth Olsen and Diane Kruger. What ever the rumours and hear say you are told, this was one flight nobody wanted to disembark.
Models Alice Dellal and the Delevigne sisters flew the British Flag and also walked the runway with heiress Daphne Guinness.
This Spring/ Summer line featured sequins and beads harmonised with punk hair. This bling bling collection featured longer hemlines with many shades of fluctuating blue dominating the entire collection.
This is said to have been Chanel's most elaborate show, the mini skirts have vanished. The designs are all about texture and rouche detailing. The simple classics such as the Chanel Suit were given modern and contemporary tweeks.
